Just came up on some high resolution images of the upcoming Nike Metcon 5!
You can really get a good idea of what these shoes are going to look like from these images. Including some details written on the back area that say:
- Origin: Beaverton, Oregon
- Test hours: 12,124
- Offset: 4mm + 12mm
- Abrasion: 1850 Cycles
- Traction: 1.35 GRF
Obviously these are the details of the shoe. Offset has two numbers to account for the normal drop, or the drop with the insert. Honestly – the writing in this area looks silly to me. Throwback Nano 4/5 style with random stuff written all over the shoe.
Release date according to that site is July 22nd. Preorder price is a whopping $172.50, which I’m certain will not be the actual retail price.

First set of images looks to be some kind of special edition model with “METCON” across the side and a leather heel counter. Not sure I’m a fan of these…
Black & White looks a little more palatable.
